Plain English. Any Phone.

TXTOS understands natural language. No codes to memorize, no special syntax. If you can describe what you want in a sentence, TXTOS can do it.

Behind the scenes, an AI agent interprets your message and interacts with the relevant app — the same way a human assistant would.

Works on any phone with SMS capability. Flip phones, old Nokias, feature phones — if it can text, it can run any supported app.

// Why This Exists
01 —

Smartphones Are Optional

3.5 billion people worldwide use feature phones. Billions more choose to. The assumption that modern apps require a smartphone is a design choice — one that excludes most of the planet. We're undoing it.

02 —

The Interface Is the Bottleneck

The services work fine. The apps work fine. The bottleneck is the glass rectangle you're required to carry. SMS is the most universally supported data protocol ever built. We use it.

03 —

Attention Is Worth Protecting

The modern smartphone is an attention extraction machine. Dumbphone users aren't backward — they're making a rational choice. They shouldn't have to sacrifice utility to make that choice.

04 —

Agents Change Everything

AI agents can now navigate apps with the competence of a human assistant. The missing piece was the interface layer. TXTOS is that layer — a natural language terminal for the modern app ecosystem.

// How It Works
01

You Send a Text

Text TXTOS from any phone. No app, no login screen. Just send a message describing what you need in plain English.

02

Agent Takes Action

An AI agent interprets your request and executes it on the relevant platform — booking, ordering, scheduling, transferring — with your pre-configured credentials.

03

You Get Confirmation

TXTOS texts you back with confirmation, status updates, and anything that needs your attention. No apps, no notifications, no noise.

// The Bigger Picture
On digital minimalism and utility: The choice to use a dumb phone has historically been a sacrifice. You get peace of mind, but you lose access to the infrastructure of modern life — transportation, food, banking, communication tools. That tradeoff has always been unjust. The services themselves have no inherent requirement for a touchscreen and a data plan. They just never bothered to build the interface that doesn't need one.
On SMS as infrastructure: SMS predates the modern internet stack. It runs on every cellular network, in every country, on every device. It works when data is unavailable. It costs fractions of a cent. It is, by every meaningful measure, more reliable and more universal than any app store. Building on SMS isn't a limitation — it's choosing the most robust foundation available.
On what comes next: We're at the beginning. TXTOS starts with the most common transactional apps — rides, delivery, scheduling — and expands from there. Every app that joins the network makes the dumbphone more powerful than the smartphone was five years ago. Eventually, the limiting factor won't be the phone. It'll be imagination.
